Crypto Fraud Rhymes That Will Make You Smile

Inspired by recent events in the financial/crypto world, I came up with some rhymes over the weekend. Hopefully these aren't as bad as you would expect from a middle-aged white guy to be:

"It's really simple:
I committed a crypto-fraud
Together with my crypto-broad
And now I might have to live abroad

The con is as old as money
So go on and listen, honey:
Customers give me their trust and their money
Thinking that I am no dummy

Institutions said they were risk-takers
So I told them we were money-makers
They put on fancy due diligence airs
But we are no heirs, we impressed them right out of their chairs

I believe in transparency 
Look - there is your money, see?
Oh wait, it might not all be there
Sorry, but I really do care

Making dough the honest way is too slow
So follow me on the down-low
I lever-up your money
And hope that it will really grow

I am no foolish heir
I create tokens out of thin air
They are very valuable, you see
But only as long as you believe in me

I believe in transparency 
Look - there is your money, see?
Oh wait, it might not all be there
Sorry, but I really do care

Celebrities highlight me now
Treat me like a sacred cow
How can a man who throws a ball
Be wrong about tokens, afterall?

Enemies be throwing shade at me
Out of spite or jealousy 
Tweeting mean things about how
My math doesn't add up somehow

I believe in transparency 
Look - there is your money, see?
Oh wait, it might not all be there
Sorry, but I really do care

Things went downhill too quick somehow
I have big regrets right now
'Twas no supposed to end like this
The billionaires' club I will miss

It's all about the users, you know
No, this isn't just for show 
We will try to give them back some money
How much, I don't know, honey

I believe in transparency

Oh wait, it might not all be there
Sorry, but I really do care"

All humor aside, what's my point?

Wealth takes time and effort to build for real. Anytime you see people "creating" massive wealth/returns/etc overnight, be really suspicious. The smoother they are in their talking, the faster away you should be walking ;)
